My Biography

My name is Margaret Gillett. I have almost 40 years of experience with Elder Care:  including Senior Housing Sales, a Certified Benefits Counselor for Texas, Home Health and Home Care Alternate Administrator, Activities and Hospice. I took care of my mother for over 16 years through every single aspect of the care continuum.  My mom went through every level of care more than once.  It seemed like every couple of months, I was looking for a new place for her to live. I cannot stress how much money was spent moving her around, how much time I had to take off from work and the stress that it caused both of us. This book is intended to help others not make those same costly mistakes.
